Great place! Minutes from the beach
Cottage 1 was definitely the best spot in a row of 8 or 9 cabins. It was beside the river so we had a nice river view, air flow and also our picnic table was on the corner of the site’s shared patio.
There are kayaks, canoes and bikes to rent. We did rent a kayak and kayaked along the river, which was fantastic. There are great bike trails too. You just need to let the hosts know you want to rent them ahead of time if they’re on site and they’ll arrange the equipment for you.
This location is also in walking distance to the beach and a really great ice cream spot.
I would come back!

My friends and I stayed at this place for the Civic holiday (August 2, 2021) long-weekend and we really enjoyed it. Despite the weather we managed to admire beautiful sunsets on Wasaga beach which is in vicinity of 5 minutes walk. The house we stayed at is small but very cozy. There’s everything you need. It’s right by the river and the whole scenery is great. You can rent a paddle boat, kayaks or canoe at the place. The prices are very affordable. The hosts are very friendly and nice.
We had everything we need at the house accept for the stove but there’s no need for that when there’s a grill outside in front of every house.
This is the best spot to stay at Wasaga because it’s not close to the public beach and there are less people here.
If you travel on the long-weekend the public parking on Wasaga beach is usually free. The beach is one of the best in Ontario in my opinion. My favourite place to go.
